Storyn Bakom Gardiners:
The family run firm of Gardiners of Scotland continues to produce a wide range of quality confectionery.
Tom Gardiner, his wife Maureen and their son Tom, are personally involved in the everyday running of the business, ensuring that high standards are maintained in every aspect, from production to packaging and despatch.
We currently employ 20 staff, all of them being a valuable asset to the company.
We are an established and respected firm of confectionery manufacturers, offering an extensive range of traditional confections produced using only the finest of ingredients and packaged in exclusive tins and cartons.
These are supplied to Duty Free shops, Gift shops, Department stores within the UK and in various outlets worldwide.
The unique flavours of our fudge have all been developed by Tom Gardiner Junior including the delicious new flavours of Clotted Cream and Cranberry & Blueberry, which are welcome additions.
The products are still made by traditional methods, using open cooking vessels and cooling tables, this gives our confectionery the unique Gardiners taste and texture.
Another favourite, is our Edinburgh Rock, traditionally Scottish and full of flavour.
We also manufacture tablet and Macaroon bars in our factory.
We produce a range of some of the finest Malt Whisky fudges such as Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas, Glengoyne, Eradour, Tomatin, Arran, Benromach, Bunnahabhain and Tobermory, also Wallace Liqueur, Drumgray Liqueur, Heather Cream Liqueur and Jack Daniels Tennessee Whisky Fudge.
Automated weighing and packaging equipment is an integral part of our production, here we can see an assorted fudge selection being weighed , bagged and packed into boxes ready to be despatched to our customers.
Some packaging must be carefully done by hand, . the human touch.
Gardiners of Scotland was established in 1949 and still remains a family business.
